After 18 months of development of the Alfa Romeo 159’s 2.2 JTS direct injection petrol engine, Autodelta announced that it will unveil the supercharged Alfa 159 J4 2.2 C at an exclusive event at the Yacht Harbour of Driessen, Amsterdam, on 20th & 21st of June. The addition of a Rotrex C30-74 supercharger and a specifically-developed system boosts the 2.2-litre 4-cylinder unit’s power from the standard 185Hp up to 245Hp while peak torque is lifted from 230Nm to 290Nm. Apart from the engine upgrades, the Alfa Romeo 159 J4 2.2C has also been enhanced with a new fully adjustable coil over suspension, up-rated perforated brake discs and special compound pads along with a new aerodynamic package.
